About Us
I am an American female Muslim, and have lived in the United States all my life. I have been Muslim for about twenty-six years. I won’t tell my age, race, or ethnicity, as sometimes those factors cloud the issues. What matters most is that we are Muslims, one brotherhood.
Polygamy 411 is a means of support for those who are in polygamous marriages, are contemplating one, or simply want to discuss polygamy in general. It’s a place where we can converse with one another about our thoughts, feelings, and experiences with polygamy. We have opened our home to everyone whether Muslim or not. All are welcome!
Sometimes we feel as though we are all alone in this huge, wide, world, practicing a different lifestyle (polygamy). We feel there is no one anywhere around us that understands, has been there, or has a clue about what we are going through. Polygamy 411 is a means to help us – help us accept polygamy, which is a way of life that is permissible for us in Islam.
There are websites in cyberspace that address Polygamy as practiced by Christians, Mormons, and people in African continents et. al.. There are statistics on polygamy. There are sites that tell people what polygamy is. I have come across very few websites whereby Muslims in polygamous marriages or Muslims considering polygamy come together to help and be there for one another… Insha Allah, Polygamy 411 will be that site!
EVERYONE, whether Muslim or Non-Muslim, is welcome here at polygamy411.com – all who are cordial, respectful, and want to share.
May Allah continue to bless all of us, during our short stint on earth!
